The Lake Wylie Rotary Club proudly presented a $21,000 check to the Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust (CART) Fund)during a special Rotary Happy Hour at Papa Doc’s Shore Club.
The funds were raised earlier this year through the club’s highly successful Paddle for the Cure event. During the happy hour, the check was officially handed to Tiffany Ervin, Executive Director of the CART Fund — a moment that underscored the club’s ongoing commitment to advancing Alzheimer’s research.
Founded in 1996, the CART Fund provides 100% of donations as competitive grants for innovative Alzheimer’s disease research in the United States. In 2025, CART awarded a record-breaking $2 million in research grants — the largest amount in its history. For more information, visit www.cartfund.org.
