The Lake Wylie Rotarians participated in the annual fall Riversweep clean up in Lake Wylie on October 3. Ed Lindsey organized and lead the group as they enjoyed fun and fellowship while providing community service. Riversweep was a successful event and included:
1897 bags of trash collected
180 old tires
2 TV’s
1 Message in a jar (with money!)
Lots of kid toys
3 Shopping carts
253 pieces of lumber
2,000 pounds of recyclables
